In an Era of 0.5 Seconds, I Choose to Write You a Slow Letter - Inner Thoughts of an Introvert

I never thought I would start a blog. In an age where everyone chases Instagram metrics and decodes TikTok algorithms, spending time on long-form writing seems almost "foolish." When AI can provide answers in seconds, who would click into a website to read the inner thoughts of an introvert?

But it is precisely this "efficiency-first" world that gives me a spark of excitement.

I yearn for the era of intentional searching.

I remember spending an entire afternoon in a bookstore, drifting through aisles just to find that one soul-stirring book. I remember visiting record stores, carefully picking an album, and listening to the entire CD from start to finish without distraction. Afterward, I would play it over and over, day after day, until the melodies became part of my life. In those days, every record and every book was incredibly precious—it was a period of unforgettable, wholehearted devotion.

In those days, our connection with objects and words was deep and singular. The act of "searching" was a ritual in itself.

I don’t want you to just "brush past" my post for two seconds while mindlessly scrolling. I hope that if you’ve found your way here, it’s because you are looking for something—something real, warm, perhaps even a bit unpolished. I want to attract those who, in this fast-paced world, still seek meaningful connection.

To find something for this post, I spent half an hour digging through a dusty corner of my home, finally unearthing this box of old photos. Then, I spent another half-hour just sitting there, drifting through the memories. This is exactly what I mean—a purposeful search.

To me, silversmithing and wax carving are much the same.

Every hammer strike and every carved line is an act of intentional persistence—a process of pouring my emotions into a physical form. A piece is only half-finished when it is visually complete. If its form captures your eye, I believe you would also want to know the other half: the journey and the soul hidden behind the silver.

In this quiet corner, I will regularly share:
  • The inspirations and stories behind each handcrafted piece.

  • The raw harvest and struggles of building an independent brand.

  • "The Soul Exchange": A project where I select a specific piece and invite you to trade it for a story of your own.

If you also miss the weight of true focus, I invite you to subscribe to my blog. This space doesn't cater to algorithms; it only waits for those who search with intention.
